The Nikkei rose .2% to 17,522. Bridgestone was up down 1.6% to 2440. Canon was down .9% to 6520. Fuji Film was down .2% to 4880. Hitachi was up .6% to 876. Honda was down .2% to 4260. NEC down .6% to 624. NTT was up .2% to 611000. Docomo was up .9% to 218000. Softbank was flat at 3100. Sony was up .5% to 2620. Toshiba was up .4% to 799. Toyota was down .3% to 7820. Yahoo Japan 1.1% to 41550.

The Hang Seng was up .2% to 19,371. Cathay Pacific was down 1.9% to 20.15. China Mobile was up .5% to 71.3. China Netcom was down 1.5% to 18.2. China Unicom was down 1.6% to 10.08. HSBC up.1% to 137.3. PCCW was flat at 4.72.

The KOSPI was up .2% to 1,450.

The Straits Times was down .4% to 3,193.

The Shanghai Composite was up 1.6% to 3,123.
