Asia Markets 4/24/2007

Markets in Asia were narrowly mixed.

The Nikkei fell a small fraction to 17,452. Canon (CAJ) rose 1.5% to 6660. Honda (HMC) fell 1.2% to 4070. NEC (NIPNY) rose 3% to 649. NTT (NTT) rose 1% to 608000. Softbank rose 5.2% to 6250. Sony (SNE) was flat at 6490. Toyota (TM) was down .5% to 7370. 

The Hang Seng fell .1% to 20,544. China Life (LFC) rose 1% to 25.3. China Mobile (CHL) rose .8% to 73.35. HSBC (HBC) fell .3% to 144.5. PCCW (PCW) fell .2% to 4.87.

The Shanghai Composite rose .6% to 3,721.
