The FTSE rose .4% to 6,485. Barclays (BCS) was down .2% to 722.5. BP (BP) was down .3% to 570. BT (BT) was up .5% to 319.25. GSK (GSK) was up 1.4% to 1484. Reuters (RTRSY) was up .1% to 481.25. Vodafone (VOD) was up 1.1% to 143.3.

The DAXX rose .7% to 7,391. DaimlerChrysler (DCX) rose .5% to 59.6. DB (DB) rose .6% to 114.48. DT (DT) rose 1.1% to 13.4. Siemens (SI) rose 1.9% to 90.02.

The CAC 40 rose .2% to 5,959. Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) fell 1.6% to 9.69. AXA (AXA) rose .2% to 34.05. France Telecom (FTE) rose 3% to 21.58. ST Micro (STM) fell .7% to 14.58.
