Markets in Europe were mixed at 5.50 AM New York time.

The FTSE was up .2% to 6,654. BP (BP) was up 1.1% to 588.5. Prudential (PUK) was down .5% to 775. Reuters (RTRSY) was down .6% to 634.25.

The DAXX was up .2% to 7,625. Siemens (SI) was up .7% to 93.2. VW (VLKAY) was down 1.3% to 107.51.

The CAC 40 was down .1% to 6,094. ST Micro (STM) was down .7% to 14.8.
