Shanghai Down Almost 7%, Asia Markets 5/30.2007

The Shanghai Composite fell 6.5% to 4,053.

The Nikkei was off .5% to 17,588. Hitachi (HIT) was down 1.4% to 879. Softbank was down 1.9% to 2640. Toyota (TM) was down 1% to 7280.

The Hang Seng was down 1.2% to 20,234. China Unicom (CHU) was down 3.1% to 11.32. HSBC (HBC) was up a fraction to 144.
