Markets in Asia were up sharply.

The Nikkei rose 1.6% to 17,876. Honda (HMC) rose 2.1% to 4280. KDDI rose 4.1% to 1040000. NTT (NTT) rose 2.7% to 573000.

The Hang Seng rose 1.8% to 20,650. China Mobile (CHL) rose 2.4% to 73. China Petroleum (SNP) rose 8.6% to 8.63. HSBC (HBC) rose .6% to 144.5.

The Shanghai Composite rose 1.4% to 4,110.
