Markets in Asia were up sharply.

The Nikkei rose 1.4% to 18,239. Honda (HMC) was up 2.5% to 4590. NTT (NTT) was up 2.5% to 542000.

The Hang Seng was up 1.3% to 23,096. China Mobile (CHL) was up 3.2% to 91.9. HSBC (HBC) was up .5% to 144.4.

The Shanghai Composite was flat at 3,914.
