Markets in Europe were down slightly at 6.10 AM New York time.

The FTSE was off .1% to 6,188. MAN Gourp was down 2% to 480.25. Royal Bank of Scotland was down 1.2% to 576.5.

The DAXX was down .6% to 7,470. Duetsche Bank (DB) was off 1% to 90.21. Siemens (SI) was down 1% to 90.76.

The CAC 40 fell off .3% to 5,506. BNP Paribas was down 1.2% to to 77.48. Sanofi-Aventis was down 1.2% to 58.5.
