Sun Microsystems (JAVA) picked up its new JAVA ticker symbol today, and it has been able to do what the company’s performance and share buy-back haven’t. Get the price up.

JAVA is up today by 3.6% to $5.19. Over the last six months the stock has dropped over 15%.

Sun should change its ticker more often.
