Markets in were mostly higher.

The Nikkei rose .6% to 17,160. Honda (HMC) rose 1% to 4020. NTT (NTT) fell 2.1% to 549000. Toyota (TM) fell 1% to 6760.

The Hang Seng rose .5% to 27,803. China Petroleum (SNP) rose 2.1% to 9.7. Cnooc rose 1.4% to 25.06.

The Shanghai Composite rose .4% to 5,716.
