Europe markets were up modestly at 6.45 AM

The FTSE rose .8% to 6,592. BHP Billiton (BHP) was up 1.2% to 1732. BP (BP) was up 1.4% to 577.5.

The DAXX was up a fraction at 7,975. SAP (SAP) was up 1% to 40.35.

The CAC 40 rose a fraction to 5,831. BNP Paribas fell 1.5% to 80.54.
