Asia Markets 11/8/2007 Shanghai Down Almost 5%

Markets in Asia were off sharply.’

The Nikkei was down 2% to 15,772. NTT (NTT) was down 3.7% to 509000. Sony (SNE) was down 2.4% to 5390. Toyota (TM) was down 4.2% to 6170.

The Hang Seng fell 3.2% to 28,760. China Mobile (CHL) was down 3.8% to 137.9. China Petroleum (SNP) was off 8.1% to 10.42.

The Shanghai Composite fell 4.9% to 5,338.
