Market in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkei fell 1.2% to 15,030. KDDI fell 2.4% to 771000. NTT (NTT) fell 2.4% to 527000.

The Hang Seng rose 1.1% to 27,029. Cnina Netcom (CN) rose 3.2% to 24.4. CNOOC rose 3.5% to 12.38.

The Shanghai Composite rose 2.2% to 4,942.
