Markets in Asia fell.

The Nikkei was off 1.7% to 15,308.

The Hang Seng fell 1.7% to 27,371. China Petroleum (SNP) was off 3.8% to 11.70. Bank of East Asia was up 2.7% to 52.90.

The Shanghai Composite fell .9% to 5,262.
