Markets in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkei fell .8% to 13,746. Honda (HMC) fell 3.5% ot 3310. NEC fell 2.7% to 425.

The Hang Seng fell 9% to 24,809. China Netcom (CN) fell 3.4% to 24.55. New World Development fell 5.3% to 22.15.

The Shanghai Composite dropped 1.6% to 4,600.
