Markets in Asia were down

The Nikkei was closed for a holiday

The Hang Seng was down 3.7% to 22,616. China Life (LFC) was off 4.1% to 28.2. PetroChina (PTR was off 4.5% to 10.64.

The Shanghai Composite was not posted because of holiday.
