Markets in Asia were mostly higher.

The Nikkei rose a fraction to 13,02. NEC rose 1.8% to 408. NTT (NTT) rose 2.6% to 512000. Docomo (DCM) rose 3.1% to 167000.

The Hang Seng rose 1.4% to 22,922. Chnia Netcom (CN) rose 3% to 22.55. China Mobile (CHL) rose 1.8% to 114.7.

Shanghai was closed for a holiday.
