Markets were higher in Europe at 7.20 AM.

The FTSE rose 1.2% to 5,776. Barclays (BCS) was up 4% to 446.5. BHP Billion (BHP) was up 3% to 1527.

The DAXX was up 1.3% to 6,833. BMW was up 3.1% to 35.27. Siemens (SI) was up 2.1% to 87.28.

The CAC 40 traded up 1.6% to 4,757. Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) was up 2% to 4.15.
