Asia Markets 3/12/2008 (LFC)(PTR)

Markets in Asia were mostly higher.

The Nikkei was up 1.6% to 12,861. Japan Tobacco was down 3.5% to 550000. KDDI was up 3.7% to 623000.

The Hang Seng rose .8% to 23,185. China Life (LFC) was up 2.5% to 29.2. PetroChina (PTR) was up 1.5% to 10.8.

The Shanghai Composite dropped 2.3% to 4070.
