Markets in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkie rose 1.5% to 11,964. Honda (HMC) was off 2.4% to 2630. Mazda was up 3.3% to 348,

The Hang Seng was up .7% to 21,240. China Petroleum (SNP) was up 2.1% to 6.27. CNOOC was down 5,5% to 10.79.

The Shanghai Composite dropped 4% to 3,669,
