Markets in Asia were mixed with Hong Kong and Shanghai closed for a holiday.

The Nikkei fell .6% to 13,767. Hitachi was down 2.1% to 686. NTT (NTT) was up 1.3% to 454000. Yahoo Japan was up 1.1% to 46550.
