Markets in Asia were mostly higher.

The Nikkei was up 1.5% to 13,893. Honda (HMC) was up 2.2% to 3300. KDDI was up 2.7% to 690000.

The Hang Seng rose 1.2% to 24,409. CNOOC was up 4% to 15. PetroChina (PTR) was up 1.3% to 10.76.

The Shanghai Composite rose .3% to 3,375.
