Markets in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkei rose 1.6% to 14,436. Honda (HMC) rose 8.6% to 3790. Nissan rose 5.3% to 974. Toyota (TM) rose 3.2% to 5,570.

The Hang Seng  was flat. China Life (LFC) fell 2.2% to 30.60. CNOOC fell 3.5% to 13.34.

The Shanghai Composite fell 1.9% to 3,370.
