Asia Market 7/17/2008 (LFC)(SNP)

Markets in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkei was up 1% to 12,888. Japan Airlines was up 4.3% to 221.Japan Tobacco was up 3.5% to 443000.

The Hang Seng rose 2.5% to 21,755. China Life (LFC) was up 4.8% to 28.25. China Petroluem (SNP) was up 5.2% to 7.53.

The Shanghai Composite fell .8% to 2,685.
