Markets in Asia were narrowly mixed.

The Nikkei fell 1% to 13,125. KDDI fell 2.8% to 651000. NEC was off 3.5% to 493.

The Hang Seng moved up .7% to 22,107. China Petroleum (SNP) rose 2.2% to 8.25. China Unicom (CHU) rose 1.3% to 15.94.

The Shanghai Composite rose .3% to 2,728
