Most markets in Asia rose.

The Nikkei moved up 1.7% to 12,879. Yamaha rose 1.2% to 1802. All Nippon Air rose 1.3% to 385.

The Hang Seng moved up 3.1% to 21,016. China Life (LFC) rose 3.2% to 27.85. PetroChina (PTR) rose 3% to 9.93.

The Shanghai Composite rose .3% to 2,413.
