Asia Markets 9/30/2008 Nikkei Off 4% (PTR)

JapAsia markets fell sharply.

The Nikkei dropped 4.1% to 11,260.

The Hang Seng fell 2% to 17,629. Sun Hung Kai Properties fell as much as 6%. Petrochina (PTR) and CNOOC were both off over 3%.

Shanghai was closed for a holiday.
