Asia Markets And Europe Open 1/29/2009

Markets in Asia were mostly higher.

The Nikkei rose 1.8% to 8,251.

The Hang Seng was up 4.7% to 13,164.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE was down .8% to 4,260, The Dax dropped .8% to 4,484 and the CAC 40 fell .8% to 3,050..
