Markets in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkei fell .6% to 7,826.

The Hang Seng was off .8% to 12,757.

The Shanghai Composite moved up 2.4% to 2,061.

In Europe, at the open, the FTSE was up .4% to 4,089. The Dac was higher by ,7% to 4,300. The CAC rose .9% to 2,906.
