Markets in Asia were narrowly mixed.

The Nikkei fell 1.1% to 7,950.

The Hang Seng rose .9% to 13,178.

The Shanghai Composite fell .5% to 2,098.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE was up ,2%, The Dax rose ,4% to 4,429. The CAC 40 was up .6% to 3,083.
