My uderstanding is several of the banks are in the same financial shape as GM? Why are their bondholders not being treated like GM? 20+ years ago I put enough money in CD's to finish the game. When the Fed lowered the interest rate similar to what they are doing now I put some of this money in GM bonds to trie and maintain my survivor lifestyle. Am I the only Senior citizen who made this mistake? This is the only place I have been able to find anything about where I stand and I still don't understand totally. Is there anywhere I can find out what's happening? Where did they come up with 30%? Why are Coker and Shelby, who's states have 6 foreign automobile manufacturing plants in their States being given major TV time?
