Markets in Asia were slightly higher.

The Nikkei rose .3% to 7,558.

The Hang Seng was up .1% to 13,024.

The Shanghai Composite rose .8% to 2,227.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE was up .3%. The Dax rose .3% to 4,219. The CAC 40 was up .7% to 2,894.
