Markets in Asia were sharply lower.

The Nikkei dropped 1.5% to 7,269.

The Hang Seng fell 2.9% to 12,787.

The Shanghai Composite was down 4.6$% to 2,201.

At the open, in Europe, that FTSE fell .8%. The Dax was off 2.7% to 3,906. The CAC 40 fell .7% to 2,710.
