Markets in Asia fell.

The Nikkei dropped 3.5% to 7,173.

The Hang Seng fell 1.8% to 11,980.

The Shanghai Composite was down 1.4% to 2.193.

At the open in Europe, The FTSE was off .4%  The Dax fell .3% to 3,670.

The CAC 40 was off .2% to 2,573.
