Markets in Asia were mostly lower.

The Nikkei fell 2.4% to 8,711.

The Hang Seng was off 2.9% to 15,289.

The Shanghai Composite fell .9% to 2,536

In Europe, the FTSE was off .2% to 3,982. The Dax was up.1% to 4,492. The CAC 40 was down .2% to 2,964.
