Markets in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkei was up .2% to 8,727.

The Hang Seng was down 1.7% to 15,027.

The Shanghai Composite was down 2.9% to 2,461.

At the open in Europe. the FTSE was off .2%. The Dax was down .1% to 4,498. The CAC 40 fell .1% to 2,977.
