Bloomberg  reports that Chrysler is going bankrupt.

“President Barack Obama plans to announce tomorrow that Chrysler LLC will be placed into Chapter 11 bankruptcy, leading to an alliance with Italian automaker Fiat SpA.”

Based on the news, Chrysler has settled on new deals with the UAW and Fiat, but creditors must have balked at taking large discounts on their loans.
