Markets in Asia were lower.

The Nikkei fell .9% to 9,284.

The Hang Seng fell 1.3% to 17,248.

The Shanghai Composite was down 1.5% to 2,611.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE fell 1.3% to 4,409. The Dax dropped 1.2% to 4,981 and the CAC fell 1.3% to 3,259.
