Starbucks (SBUX) Explodes In New York City, Literally

Print Email

According to several media reports someone planted a bomb outside the Starbucks (SBUX) store at 92nd Street and Third Avenue in New York City, causing an explosion and shattering windows. The incident took place at 3.30 AM this morning. No one was hurt.

Some fringe groups have been concerned with Starbucks businesses and environmental practices and the firm has closed a number of stores and laid off thousands of employees during the last year, but it is not clear whether this bombing is related to any of those issues.
