Asia Markets And Europe Open 8/21/2009

chinaMarkets in Asia were mixed

The Nikkei fell 1.5% to 10,238. Shares in Toyota (TM) and Honda (HMC) fell.

The Hang Seng was down .9% to 20,253.

The Shanghai Composite was up 1.7% to 2,981.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE fell .4% to 4,739. Rio Tinto (RTP) was off sharply. The Dax fell .4% to 5,292. The CAC 40 was down .4% to 3,492.
