Markets in Asia were narrowly mixed.

The Nikkei fell .8% to 10,312. Honda (HMC) and Toyota (TM) slipped.

The Hang Seng fell .7% to 20,925.

The Shanghai Composite was up .5% to 2,948.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE was off .2% to 4,938. The Dax fell .3% to 5,466. The CAC 40 was off .3% to 3,650.
