What’s That Bar Code Doing On The Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) Homepage

magazinThe Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) logo has been replaced with a bar code today. The company many be the only large corporation in the world which is willing to take the risk of altering or even replacing its brand name. That is part of the Google mystique.

The bar code received its first patent fifty-seven years ago. The one replacing the company’s normal logo apparently spells out the name “Google.”
