chinaMarkets in Asia were sharply lower.

The Nikkei fell 1.5% to 10,212. Honda fell (NYSE:HMC).

The Hang Seng was down 1.7% to 22,197. China Life (NYSE:LFC) rose.

The Shanghai Composite was down 2.8% to 2,031.
