Markets in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkei fell .6% to 9,730. Sony (NYSE:SNE) dropped.

The Hang Seng was down .1% to 22,914.

The Shanghai Composite rose .2% to 3,283.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE fell .5% to 5,357. The Dax dropped .3% to 5,789. The CAC 40 fell .4% to 3,648.
