Markets in Asia fell.

The Nikkei was off .3% to 10,140.

The Hang Seng fell 1.2% to 22,083  HSBC (NYSE:HBC) FELL.

The Shanghai Composite was down 1.1% to 3,297.

At the open, the FTSE fell .4% to 5,289. The Dax dropped .4% to 5,762.  The CAC 40 was off .2% to 3,831.
