Markets in Asia were mixed and Shanghai was closed

The Nikkei was up .3% to 10,336. Toyota (NYSE:TM) slipped on recall news.

The Hang Seng was down .6% to 20,407.

At the open, in Europe, the FTSE was off .2% to 5,270. The Dax fell .2% to 5,636. The CAC 40 dropped .2% to 3,719.
