Markets in Asia were mixed

The Nikkei fell 1.5% to 10,199. Toyota (NYSE: TM) fell.

The Hang Seng was off .9% to 20,448. The Bank of China (NYSE: CEO) fell

The Shanghai Composite was up 1.3% to 3,022.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE was up .2% to 5,324. The Dax rose .3% to 5,621. The CAC 40 was up .3% to 3,720.
