Markets in Asia were narrowly mixed.

The Nikkei fell .2% to 10,588.

The Hang Seng rose .1% to 21,208. China Life (LFC) rose.

The Shanghai Composite was higher by .5% to 3,069.

At the open in Europe, the FTSE as flat at 5,671 and the DAX was flat at 5,877. The CAC 40 rose .2% to 3,912.
