Markets in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkei rose .8% to 10,751.

The Hang Seng was down .1% to 21,208.

The Shanghai Composite was down to 3,013

At the open in Europe, the FTSE rose .2% to 5,628. The Dax was higher by .2% to 5,943. The CAC was up .1% to 3,912.
