It is extraordinary that the largest fast food chain is in the world’s is also the one that is growing the most rapidly. But, that is the case with McDonald’s (NYSE: MCD)

Revenue grew 5% to $5.94 billion. Operating income was up 10% to $1.85 billion, and net income rose 12% to $1.23 billion.

Global comparable sales increased 4.8%, with the U.S. up 3.7%, Europe up 5.2% and Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa up 4.6%.
